A few venues recently visited for caricatures are the Old kent barn in Swingfield. Then Lympne castle in Lympne and Halden place in cranbrook. Also caricature entertainment for hire at weddings, parties and events in the Dover area. Places like Hythe, Whitfield, Dymchurch, New Romney and obviously the countless pretty villages in the Kent area. A few venues I have recently visited to caricature at in the area are Westenhanger Castle in Hythe, Also in Market Square on the Dover Seafront. Burlington Hotel in Folkestone and the Solton Manor – East Langdon. A great unique venue is a converted church in Bilsington called St Augustines Priory, and several times at Eastwell Manor in Boughton Lees.
Gary Oldman Caricature
The brilliant actor and filmmaker Gary Oldman has links to Ashford. He only lived in Stanhope for a couple of years, but I think it’s enough for Ashford to claim Gary as one of their own. This caricature is Gary Oldman starring as Jackson Lamb in Slow Horses. J.Lamb is a disgruntled MI5 agent overseeing a team of misfit intelligence agents at Slough House. The drama and plots are great; the writing and acting is great and its all dawn great. I adore Slow Horses.
